Description
This pressure switch is designed for on-off control. It can be manually triggered or activated by changes in water depth. Within the range of pressure-triggered depths, it can be used as a momentary switch. When the water pressure exceeds the pressure-triggered depth range, the switch maintains a closed-circuit state, consequently serving as a passive signal for AUVs to submerge or ascend.
There is an M3 threaded hole at the top button, allowing for the installation of larger or custom-shaped trigger buttons. When combined with appropriate back-end circuits, these can be used for emergency stop switches or limit and switch scenarios. There are two versions available with different trigger pressures: L2 and M4.
The hexagonal bulkhead's wrench socket doesn't extend all the way to the bottom. The retained circular step is intended to protect the hatch cover from potential scratches during wrench operations.

FAQ
● After using it in murky waters for a while, I feel some resistance when pressing the button. Is this normal?
Yes, this is normal. Impurities or salt crystals might have entered small crevices. You can alleviate this by soaking the switch in warm water and pressing the button repeatedly to dislodge any impurities.
● Can this switch handle high-current power sources?
No, you should employ MOS switches or relays to manage high voltage and high current power sources.
● Can you provide an electrical schematic for the switch?
No, it's a physical on-off switch, so it can be simply referred to as a switch.
● Can this switch be used in shallow water or in the air?
Yes, it is suitable for usage in water depths ranging from 0 to 1000 meters, as well as in the air.
● What does "Trigger Depth" mean?
Within the trigger depth, it can function as a momentary switch—press to close the circuit, release to open. When reaching the trigger depth, it automatically switches to the ON state due to water pressure, and it will remain in the ON state if the trigger depth is exceeded.
● Is the trigger depth accurate?
There might be variations. If precise trigger depth is required, perform multiple water pressure tests for calibration before use.
● Will it be damaged by water pressure if exceeded the trigger depth?
No, it won't. It can be used at depths up to 1000 meters.
