Description
This depth sensor has a corrosion-resistant metal diaphragm at the probe. It is an oil-filled pressure sensor isolated by a corrugated stainless steel diaphragm. The absolute pressure type can measure up to 35Bar (350m depth).
The water pressure is transmitted to the internal sensing circuit through the diaphragm and the poured silicone oil, allowing for maintenance-free submerged operation. There is a solver board inside, which collects 24-bit pressure and temperature data, converts it into depth data through temperature compensation, and outputs depth and temperature data through serial port.
It is more suitable for the scenarios that require higher reliability and durability. Since the metal diaphragm cannot come into contact with sharp objects, a removable protective cover is attached to the outside of the diaphragm.

Guides
FAQ
● Is there a built-in solver board?
Yes, there is an internal solver board that collects 24-bit pressure and temperature data, converts it to depth data after temperature compensation, and outputs the depth and temperature data through the serial port.
● Can the wires be extended?
The sensors are TTL level and are not suitable for long wire connections. Longer wires may result in increased BER, so the wires can be extended by means of level shifting.
● Does the sensor need to be calibrated? What data is being read from the serial port? Do I need more processing to get temperature data?
The transducer converts the pressure reading to a depth value and the transducer reading can be calibrated at the surface.
The serial port readout is the solved depth and temperature values (original data), which can be read directly through the serial port without further processing.
● The metal diaphragm has been deformed and pitted by a wrench, does this have any effect?
Yes, it is not recommended to continue to use it, as it may cause problems with data and sealing.
● Can I test the pressure by pressing with my finger?
No, it is not recommended. Finger pressure is uneven and may be deformed by fingernails.
● Is it directly compatible with Ardusub?
No, it is serial output.
