Fish-eye Binocular Camera

Description

This wide-angle binocular camera internally features the "Unitree SV1-25 binocular camera module", paired with an aluminum housing and an acrylic dual-dome end cap cover. The fully enclosed shell provides excellent deep-water protection.
In air, it offers an ultra-wide 220° field of view, combined with a 1/4-inch high-quality sensor with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, making it suitable for wide-field applications. Please note that the field of view differs between air and underwater environments, and calibration should be performed underwater.
This camera supports USB 2.0 connectivity and outputs in MJPEG/YUV2 formats, delivering high-definition video at 1856×800@30FPS. Alternatively, it can capture high-speed footage at 928×400 resolution and 60FPS.
Designed with low power consumption, it is ideal for underwater applications with compact spatial requirements, as well as for ground robots that demand high weather resistance.

FAQ

● Can I directly view the video feed when connected to a computer?
No, you need to use the SDK for development to access the video feed.
● Can the SDK be used directly?
Viewing video feed can be developed directly by using the SDK, but the later algorithms need to be recalibrated underwater, because the camera's field of view changes due to water refraction when placed underwater.
● Can the tail gland penetrator be screwed off?
No, it requires special tools. Loosening or tightening it may affect the sealing performance.
● How to understand the 220° field of view?
In air, the field of view exceeds 180°, allowing the camera to capture parts of the scene behind its vertex.
