Description
The underwater tap switch is a magnetic mechanical brake touch switch, which contains a magnet but is not a Hall effect switch. It differs from a pressure switch in that it maintains a constant triggering force in shallow water and at a depth of 1000 meters.
It can be used for underwater remote controllers, underwater lights, underwater thrusters, and other human-machine interactions underwater. It conducts when tapped and disconnects when released.
Note that when the direction of fall or impact is the same as the direction of press, it will be triggered incorrectly, such as when the device is thrown into the water or when the device is knocked, it is recommended to prolong the time to eliminate the impact of the short-term knock and impact, and pay attention to cover to avoid false triggering of the impact of the water flow.
The hexagonal bulkhead's wrench socket doesn't extend all the way to the bottom. The retained circular step is intended to protect the hatch cover from potential scratches during wrench operations.

FAQ
● After using it in murky waters for a while, I feel some resistance when tap the button. Is this normal?
Yes, this is normal. Impurities or salt crystals might have entered small crevices. You can alleviate this by soaking the switch in warm water and tap the button repeatedly to dislodge any impurities.
● Can this switch handle high-current power sources?
No, you should employ MOS switches or relays to manage high voltage and high current power sources.
● Can you provide an electrical schematic for the switch?
No, it's a physical on-off switch, so it can be simply referred to as a switch.
● Can this switch be used in shallow water or in the air?
Yes, it is suitable for usage in water depths ranging from 0 to 1000 meters, as well as in the air.
